Fav place to be: By the sea, on a cool crisp day with the wind blowing and clouds rolling in. Collecting rocks & sea glass. (Wellies and a warm woollen sweater is a must!) Rhossili Bay is my favourite beach walk on a crisp day. Don't know it?? Look it up it is simply stunning and worth the trip to Wales! I have spent many, many happy days over the years scrambling around on the beach & the cliffs.
Failing that I love London in the wintertime :) The National Gallery on a Sunday morning, strolling down Whitehall in the afternoon, and of course the Shopping!

Cool facts: I have lived in 9 countries on 4 continents, and spent most of my early adult life in Europe. I have visited over 24 or 25 countries (I am missing 1 or 2 but cant remember what)

Cool facts: I have lived in 9 countries on 4 continents, and spent most of my early adult life in Europe. I have visited over 24 or 25 countries (I am missing 1 or 2 but cant remember what)
I have also walked the whole 'Santiago de Compostela' pilgrimage starting in the Pyrenee mountains and even made it to the original finish of Finisterre. (If you start something you may as well finish it properly!)
I can recreate many sailors knots from just looking at them, though I haven't tried this in many many yrs :) When we visited my grandparents on the coast, knots was a way my grandfather kept me occupied.

And last but not least ~ I started collecting antique jewellery in my teens when I was given my great-grandmothers engagement ring from 1912, and around the same time an antique gold & diamond watch from the 1920's. My next piece was a Georgian silver bangle bracelet in a Greek Key design with black enamel...after that I was hooked! Wax seals were a natural progression in my collection.

Artists Bio
I have always had an eye for the sparkly things in life. I'm a born magpie!
I was lucky enough to be able to go to the Victoria School of Visual & Performing Arts to study fashion & theatre costume design while in high school, and in recent years received a full scholarship to attend the National Aboriginal Professional Artists Training Program facilitated through the University of Victoria.
Considering my circumstances It was only natural that I would choose to pursue an artistic career, though it hasn't always been clear that jewellery would catch my attention.
But my love of bits & baubles and all things sparkly crept up on me and slowly took over my life!
My only excuse is that I just can not help it!!!!!!
