Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Where do I find a square frame? How can I frame something cheaply?

A: IKEA has a very affordable ($20) ready-made square frame available in-store called RIBBA which fits my digital prints as well as some of my smaller giclee prints.

http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/20078050

The cheapest way to frame something is to buy a framing kit and do it yourself. These are available at most craft stores as well as online. You buy the length and width of frame pieces that you want, a backing of some kind and either glass or plexiglass (available at hardware stores). You can frame a 20"x20" piece for about $30 this way.

If you need smaller square frames for my screen prints or tiny paintings, visit:

They also have a few 12x12 frames.

Q: Is there a white border around the image?

Yes, there is always a margin to allow for different framing options. Usually you will have 1/2" to 1" of white border all the way around the image. When in doubt, subtract the "printed image size" mentioned in the listing from the "paper size" and this will give you the exact margin.

Q: I like this print, can you make it smaller?

Unfortunately, no. The prints in this shop are professionally printed through my job at an art publisher and, without boring you with all the details, it's a pain in the butt to get a custom size. Also, printing costs do not go down very much for a smaller image, but people expect a small print to be cheaper. This is a lot of extra work for a less expensive sale with very low profit margin. Sorry.

Q: I like this print, can you make it bigger?

Yes, as long as I'm not super duper busy. Contact me for specific pricing. Custom sizing will add at least 2 weeks to your order.

Q: Can you make a custom version of this print with a different color?

A: Sorry, but no. While my prints are digitally printed, that doesn't mean the artwork was digitally created. These are reproductions of paintings and swapping out colors can either be easy or it can end up being a grueling pixel by pixel business and it's hard to tell which it will be until I roll up my sleeves in Photoshop.

CUSTOM WORK, CONSIGNMENT & WHOLESALE:
--------------------------------------------------------
During slow periods of the year (generally January, February, July & August) I may be able to offer custom original paintings as my schedule allows. For the rest of the year I am usually too busy. Contact me for details.

I welcome wholesale inquiries about my digital & fine art prints as well as my tiny paintings, cards and (soon) sticker sets!

I will consider consignment on a case-by-case basis, but prefer wholesale.
