About

Welcome!!

Self taught metal smith with a background in apparel design and textiles, jewelry designing has been my full-time professional career for the last thirty years. I want you to feel the passion resonate in my work...to know my designs are authentic and uniquely my own. Many , in fact, have set jewelry trends over the years and have been widely imitated..

My work has been juried into the well known ACC and Rosen craft shows (both wire wrapped and sterling metalwork) and has been in the American Museum for Women in D.C...the Baltimore Museum of Art..some smaller, lesser known museums and dozens of galleries throughout the nation.

My teenage son and I live in a 100+ year old home in Roland Park, which is located on the outskirts of Baltimore City. Our home is filled with rescue dogs and cats, paintings from ceiling to floor (this includes originals by Sarah Kiser, Deb Harvey, Rosemary Daunis and Heidi Shaulis, who also sell their works on Etsy and/or ebay).

I grew up in Baltimore. Attended college in Boston and then in Arlington, Va. while selling my work at the Eastern Market in D.C. in the early 1980's. I graduated with degrees in Apparel Design and Textiles. I moved to Davis, California (just north of San Francisco and Berkeley) in the late 80's and secured my first wholesale accounts.

Thank you so much for finding me!!

My jewelry is made expressly for the discerning who prefer authentic, expertly crafted everlasting adornments. Not meant to be fleeting trends...but rather to bespeak the beauty....spirit and individual style of the wearer.

***A request for ethics***

Please refrain from copying my work, down to the nuances that I work so hard on to keep my work unique from those who continue to mimic my work. This is my life, my heart and soul and, over the years on the internet (15 years to be precise) , the excessive and relentless copying has been painful. It has changed who I am. It is bullyish and displays disregard for other artists...and it is NOT flattering. Please just stop and find work that doesn't make you a shadow of another person. I need but one shadow, my own.

Furthermore, this hurts your clients because you are deceiving them and it hurts my clients who do not expect to see my work in other people's shops.

Lastly, just because you have the technical skills does not give you free reign over other people's designs. You know, just because you can...doesn't mean you should.

Thank you.
