In 2005 Be True To You Candles and Jewelry was conceived, as with any two loves, mine for Candles and Beading joined hands.

Originally I used crayolas for color and milk cartons for molds. All the while tearing apart old jewelry, learning how it was made and how I could put my own personal spin on the design.

April of 2010 was a low point for me, it was then that I decided to experiment with another one of my interests to try and make ends meet, I added 'pieces of nature'.

I was homeless at the time which made it quite easy to find pieces of God's gifts to work with and create beauty from around me.

Favorite materials

Scents, the warm of the glow, colors that have a spark of their own, reworking vintage jewelry that have been tossed because some feel they are no longer of value, textures that you can feel with your heart, oh and did I say colors that have a spark of their own
