About

I design and knit accessories for women and children, which include wrist warmers, fingerless gloves, fingerless mittens, whatever you like to call them.
I design and knit all of the products you see in my shop. I also make all of the small project bags (kip bags) for all of your small knitting and craft projects.

Hi My name is Sandra I am the person behind bijouxboutique. I have been knitting for well over 30 years, my mum taught me to knit when I was just a little girl, I can remember her sitting knitting all time. She also used to make most of our clothes, so she was always busy with the sewing machine or the knitting needles.
My grandmother taught me to crochet, something that my mum never really mastered, but I loved it, I still pick up the occasional crochet hook today, but my passion is knitting…

I have been knitting for well over 30 years, my mum taught me to knit when I was just a little girl, I can remember her sitting knitting all time. My grandmother taught me to crochet, something that my mum never really mastered, but I loved it, I still pick up the occasional crochet hook today, but my passion is knitting.

I used to knit for a designer for over 5 years and thought 'I could do this', so my business began when I moved to France in June 2004.

I had my own business in France for 4 years, I had my bags and knitted accessories and jewellery in many shops and boutiques, I also used to attend craft fairs and local markets, and this is also when I first opened my Etsy shop in January 2008.

I decided quickly that jewellery was not for me and went back to my passion for knitting and designing, (hence my shop name bijoux boutique = jewellery shop)

I moved back to the UK in March 2010, so I spent 6 happy years in France, but I just missed the UK so much that I had to come back..
