I have been a basket maker for 30 years with work now in the permanent collections of numerous museums including the Smithsonian Museum of American Art and the Museum of Art and Design in New York. My highest honor came in 1997 when I was designated a North Carolina Living Treasure, the states highest award in the field of crafts.

For most of my basket making career, I have sold my work through high end craft shows like the Smithsonian Craft Show and the Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show, as well as many American Craft Council Shows. Two years ago, I sold my booth, carpet, lights, pedestals, and now am off the road. I hope to use the Internet to generate interest in my work and sales. I have loved meeting all of the people who collect my work. Now, I look forward to a new group of collectors.
