i am a minnesotan transplanted in new york, studying the ins and outs of microbiology. my mom says i get my crafty nature from my grandma - and while she wasn't the one to teach me, it was her how-to books and leftover yarn that piqued my interest in knitting.
the outdoors have always been a draw for me, from backpacking to lounging, the woods are my preferred location. however, i'm currently living on an island which has heavily influenced my choice in materials and design.
so here it is, when i'm not exploring the realms of pathogenesis i craft and am here to share my non-scientific creations with you! and while yarn and knitting tend to be my preferred method of crafting, i have others as well that i hope to share with you.
