About

"Growing up my father was an inventor and a world explorer. One of my earliest memories is standing on a windy bluff looking out at the deep blue waters of the Indian Ocean watching a faraway merchant ship rounding the southern tip of the island of Madagascar. What an experience to have lived and traveled half way around the world and back all before the age of 10. Then our family moved back home to Oregon where I've lived ever since. Those early childhood influences of far away places have stayed with me through the years and will often show up in my paintings.

These days my handy husband Joe and I own and operate a small sustainable Ucut Christmas tree farm with a view of Mt Hood as a back drop and the inspiration for my tree paintings. We adore our mischievous pets, Georgie, our golden doodle dog and Quincy the Siamese cat, who keep us smiling with their joy of living life to the fullest. Cisco…
