About

Hello and Welcome to my corner of the web, I am a wife and mother of three girls who has been making jewelry for around five years now. I started like many making beaded jewelry and moved into polymer clay when I wanted a way to make my own beads. I took that a step further when I found PMC metal clay and began making my own pendants. A couple years ago I fell in love with the process of making my own carved stamps and I began using them in my jewelry design. Much of my jewelry is inspired by nature and as such tends to be very simple and clean in design.

For more information about me and what I am currently up to please visit my blog at www.blueladystudios.com.

*What is Precious Metal Clay Silver?

This very unique substance is a combination of finely ground particles of silver with an organic binder to make a soft, pliable clay that you can shape into just about anything you can imagine. This clay is then fired either by torch for some of the lower temp silver clays or in a kiln. The organic binders burn off during the firing process leaving you with a solid piece of 99.9% pure silver.
