About

I love vintage and handmade. This shop is a combination of both. I absolutely adore working with felt-- bright colors and clean lines. I also love sewing with bright, modern fabrics.

I currently live in a small college town with my adorable British husband and two clever cats. I study children's literature, because it combines art and writing. During the day, I work at a print shop, which is not as cool as it sounds.

When I am not creating with fabric and felt, I enjoy rummaging through thrift stores, listening to good vinyl, sketching on my sunny patio, photographing all things adorable, saving turtles, avoiding Wal-Mart, tackling the books on my reading lists, writing short stories about the small things, going to shows, watching films at home with take-out, swimming in the spring-fed river in our town, going to the theater and eating crunchy…

When I am not creating with fabric and felt, I enjoy rummaging through thrift stores, listening to good vinyl, sketching on my sunny patio, photographing all things adorable, saving turtles, avoiding Wal-Mart, tackling the books on my reading lists, writing short stories about the small things, going to shows, watching films at home with take-out, swimming in the spring-fed river in our town, going to the theater and eating crunchy popcorn with butter, and of course, shopping on Etsy.

My dream job would be fabric designer/pattern designer/crafter all rolled into one. Currently, my crafty cousin, Brandi, and I are working on a line of children's clothing called The Owlet. I really hope that my Etsy shop takes flight so that I cannot use my master's degree and not work at a print shop forever. One day I will be on "Quit Your Day Job."
