About

I often think about what my kids will say about me when they grow up. In my mind, I picture them with images of me at my sewing machine, taking up the legs of pants that are too long, or putting a heart shaped patch over a hole in the knee of their favorite jeans. Maybe my daughter will remember “that time when I was three my mom made my whole summer wardrobe in my favorite color, pink”. By the time they are having these memories, hopefully Breed will be a staple in our home, funding our camping trips, and ensuring many reasons for me to feed my textile obsession. I am a mom, a creative, a maker of textile art and fashion, and a modern day homemaker. I’ve lived in cities large and small, and know I am the happiest I have ever been in the country, looking at cows playing out of my window, and making my own laundry soap.
