When I was 15 one of my favorite necklaces broke. Instead of tossing it in the trash, like most girls my age would have done, I studied it to find a way to fix it and fix it I did.
Ever since that day I have been wanting to try my hand at making jewelry. I started around the summer of 2008, so I'm still fairly new at it, but I love it more with every new design and material I come across.
Another thing that drove me to make my own jewelry was the fact that hand-made jewelry at an affordable price was practically unheard of. Yes, I do agree that artisans should get paid for their craft but I just feel that some prices are really just too high. That's why I like to offer my crafts at prices people can afford. Not to mention I have no problem trading or bartering goods my goods..no, not in that way :o)…
