Brooke Hagel is a New York City-based designer, stylist, fashion illustrator and graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology. As a student, Brooke attained competitive internships including Sex and the City, Saturday Night Live, and Cynthia Rowley. After college, Brooke worked in fashion and in wardrobe departments for film and theater. She eventually landed at Hearst Magazines, where she designed products and styled photo shoots for national brands including Harpers Bazaar, House Beautiful, Country Living, Seventeen and Esquire.

While working as a product designer in corporate America, Brooke decided to return to her passion for fashion illustration by opening an Etsy shop. Brooke's custom work has garnered press in the publications New Jersey Bride, (201)Bride, and HarpersBazaar.com. She has also been featured on several reputable blogs, including The Etsy Storque, WeddingBee, Styleit and Style Me Pretty. In 2010, she contributed two articles and illustrations to the book Fashion Illustration Exposed. And January 1, 2013 Brooke's first two fully illustrated books will be released by Capstone Publishing.

When not designing, Brooke can be found watching cheesy romantic comedies, or taking spontaneous trips to locales like Iceland and London.
