About

Hello,

I have always loved shaping metal since I was very little. Literally, I took a bite out of a small gold heart charm necklace! My mom was devastated, and I was stunned I could change the shape of the small charm with my teeth. Luckily for my teeth and my clients, I have since moved on to using tools:) All kidding aside, I absolutely love working with metal. I studied Metalsmithing, Printmaking, Photography and Ceramics at the University of Michigan and received a BFA in 1997. I was also fortunate to have studied Ceramics at Kyoto Seika University in Japan and Printmaking at Parsons in New York City. About

After my explorations in fine art, I then decided to return home and go back to school for a Masters in Education. I reinvented myself as an elementary school teacher for several years while continuing to create art in my spare time.

I am now a stay-at-home mom of two little girls. I have recently studied Metalsmithing again, which has reignited my love for creating jewelry. Each piece is sawed, punched, stamped, forged and soldered completely by hand. I work primarily with sterling silver pendants and then layer gems and fine details to create a completely unique piece every time. I create original pieces that reflect my own experiences and inspirations as well as customized pieces to fit anyone’s unique needs.
