About

Hey all and welcome to my little slice of the interwebs! I learned to sew as a small girl, taught by my mother with my grandmother supplying tons of fabric scraps to keep me busy. Since then, I've earned a degree in Molecular Biology, so that's what I do as a day job, but in my spare time I love to keep on sewing... although my nerdy roots almost always show through in my work! I am also a proud member of the Mad Scientists of Etsy team, a collection of artists that are incredibly talented both at the bench and in the studio. Go MSOE!

I live and work in Buffalo, which, little known to the world, is the greatest city ever (just ask anyone who has ever lived here). After some time away, I'm thrilled to be back here doing my Upstate-New-York-snow-loving thing.

That's the Buffalo Nerd in a nutshell.
