About

Hello! I live in a small, quiet town outside of Portland, Oregon with my husband and two little kiddos. We use our garage as our printing studio where the cupboards are filled with ink containers, the sink is splattered with dozens of colors, and bolts of crisp new fabric are eagerly awaiting their turn on the printing table.

When the little ones are in bed I work on my animal dolls and on Fridays I try to print my fabrics. If I had all week to work, I would probably make a dent on my design wishlist. For right now, I will just have to plug along at the current speed.

I love fabric as much as the next fabric hoarder and being able to print my own designs makes me feel powerful. You can draw all you like, but there's something magical about seeing your illustrations in fresh ink; it's unlike anything else.

During the days I try to keep the kids entertained and happy which means we are mostly outside smashing water balloons, digging in the sandbox or going for a wagon- or bike ride. Our house is a bit hidden from the road, which means the animals feel protected enough to leisurely eat all of the fruits and vegetables that I've attempted to grow. But they can't take this beautiful view away from us. Life is filled with sacrifices.

Having kids gave me a limited amount of free time but lots of time to think, which made me realize that I need to spend my free moments doing the thing that I enjoy the most: printing fabrics.
