I am a semi-retired mom of three kids who have moved out but seem to live here more now than they used too!! And with more friends, laundry, grocery LISTS, car bills, shopping requests, and an assortment of other 'THINGS' that they 'NEED!'

I have been married to the same great guy since 1985 and we are both turning into old farts together! We are getting creaky and moany and groany and loving it! We do all the same stuff that we did when we first got married, just in slo mo!

I am a pastry chef, that has gone off on a tangent and opened my own little "Jammin" business... I make all kinds of tastey spreads and play with tons of unique ingredients.

I am a pastry chef, that has gone off on a tangent and opened my own little "Jammin" business... I make all kinds of tastey spreads and play with tons of unique ingredients.

My first goal is to use everything grown locally--if I can supply it, it comes from my own garden, if not, it comes from other local farms. (Of course this does not apply to produce that cannot be grown in Utah, like Lemons, Kiwis, etc...)

My second goal is to go out on a limb. I love Chocolate. I will do anything to eat it in every meal, snack... I have incorporated it into my jams and they are wonderful! I also love to Flambe my Bing Cherries in a little "sauce" :) before I process them into jam to give them a little extra flavor. And what would food be without butter?? Not only is it truly a key ingredient in Jam making, but it enhances the flavor of any food product!

I love to create with food! I love to give you something you have never had before....

Homemade jams, preserves and other items are much better for you than store bought items because I can control exactly what goes into them. I use a 70+% fruit content when making my jams while huge manufacturers are the opposite, giving you sugar spreads, not Jams!! :)

I am always up for a challenge, if your grannie made the most awesome "somethin-somethin," just email me and I will do my best to replicate it! That is what I love!
