About

With an interest in insects, and an eye for color and design, our beautiful frames cause many of our customers to ask "are these butterflies real?"

For the past ten years we have participated in many art shows and coordinated mall shows in Florida with our butterfly and insect frames available in shadowboxes and acrylic frames. Previously wholesale customers include Cypress Gardens, Florida Museum of Natural History, and Museum of Science and Industry in Tampa.

Our artistic frames are created in our Winter Springs, Florida studio. The black shadowbox frames are constructed to last a lifetime. They are sealed on the front and back, and have acid free papers and glues within. We specialize in hand wrapping custom mats and decorative art papers, and marbleized bamboo papers. We fabricate our lucite frames ourselves and can create many custom frames…

We fabricate our lucite frames ourselves and can create many custom frames.

The newest additions to our collection are frames featuring a double opening mat with butterfly related verse and preserved butterfly accents.

Our business started as an interest in butterflies and now has become a passion. We have created new frames from previous collections, repaired old frames, and supplied frames as learning tools for classrooms. Our beautiful Florida weather allows us to raise our own Monarchs, Gulf frittilaries, Orange-barred sulphurs, Black Swallowtails, and other assorted local species. We have excellent worldwide sources for papered specimens and have scientifically preserved insects for many years. Only U.S. Fish and Wildlife inspected specimens are used. We include butterfly farm information, continent of origin, and scientific name with each frame we create.

The following verse has captured much about how we feel about butterflies:
"BUTTERFLIES ARE GOD'S CONFETTI, THROWN UPON THE EARTH IN CELEBRATION OF HIS LOVE."
Author K. D'Angelo
