Catherine Marie Tumason has been making jewelry since she was 9 years old. Born and raised in the Santa Cruz mountains California, she is inspired by both nature and city. Most of her jewelry consists of mixed beads such as gemstones, metal, wood, glass, plastic, and bone. Recently, she set up a silversmith workshop at her new residence in Invermere, British Columbia, Canada where she is exploring new designs and processes with sterling silver, gold-filled gold, and copper. Catherine strives to reduce waste and use recycled materials as much as possible.
