*About Me*
Ever since I can remember I have had the need to create. I learned how to sew and crochet when I was 5 and have dabbled in every medium since then.

I have a strong focus on family, creativity and God. I strongly believe that giving children a creative outlet will help to mold them to form healthy expression of any emotion.

My sewing table is set up in the dining room, when I am working, my kids are sitting at the dinner table working on their own craft projects.

My daughter is10, her name is Angel. She is special needs, diagnosed with Ring Chromosome 8.
My son is 7, his name is Ayden, he is a ball of fire

*Other things I love to do*
Aside from crafting and sewing, I love to cook and bake. Entertaining is such a treat for me, and every party I plan is over the top!

I was fortunate to have parents that allowed my brother and I to try any sport/art/activity that we set our eyes on. I have a strong appreciation for karate, dance, horse showing, car racing, carpentry, mechanics, dog breeding, cooking, traveling and absorbing every moment in life.

My latest venture has been breeding Miniature Australian Shepherds with my mom. Together we care for and carefully breed Mini Aussies. The dog that lives at my house is Grace, and she is definitely a part of the family, who lets me know when the kids are doing things they shouldn’t! *Why I create*
I have a need to create. Ever since I can remember I have been surrounded by creativity and entrepreneurship.

My dads mother was an antique dealer where I learned to have a good eye for craftsmanship and old world beauty.

Her mother (my great grandmother) was a strong women who sewed, crocheted, cooked, baked, tended her garden and loved everyone in the family, in the neighborhood and all of their families and friends. From her I learned many trades as well as the satisfaction of doing it myself.

My moms mother taught me how to sew and quilt and has guided my creativity and knowledge. She gave me my first sewing machine, and the second. Because of her I am continually inspired to seek new fabrics and trends and make my passion my career.

*How it comes together*
I am an OCD artist; a very rare breed. My sewing station is organized in clear boxes with consistent labeling. My supplies and fabrics are stacked nice and neat. My sketches are on the bulletin board with the pictures of my kids. I pour the coffee and sit down at my computer for some me time, and then it begins.

After about 15 minutes you can’t see my desk, the dining room table is covered in both my work and my kids crafts. Every box is open, my patterns are laid out everywhere, notes are on sticky notes covering every inch of my computer and I am working away. Whether I am working on inventory or developing a new product, its craziness.

But I can’t close my eyes and sleep until my area is all cleaned up again : back in the labeled boxes, folded back up on the shelf. Then I dream about my new products and the process to develop them. I keep a notebook by the bed and write down my dreams then brew a fresh cup of coffee.

*Cherished Handmade*
I have several handmade items that I hold near to my heart, but the two I love the most are :

1. The quilt that was on my bed growing up. My grandmother has made so many quilts for me that I have them hanging in the closet, folded in the cedar chest, on my kids beds, on my own bed. But there is one, that is so thin, with missing blocks that I love the most. It was on my bed growing up and I have so many memories when I look at it. I hangs in my closet, in a plastic protector.

2. The afghan my great grandmother made for my wedding. Grandma Moore made everyone in the family, everyone, a white afghan for their wedding. When she was around 90 years old she gave mine to my mother to keep for my wedding, because she didn’t think she had much longer to live. Mom kept it for me until my wedding day, and every time I look at it I think of my wedding day, with Grandma Moore, sitting there in the front row.

*My favorites*

Movies : Wizard of Oz, My Fair Lady, Singing in the Rain, Gone with the Wind, Cider House Rules

Books: Wicked, Anne of Green Gables, Pride and Prejudice, Lion Witch and Wardrobe, Delores Claiborne
