My favorite gifts are the ones where someone has taken the time to make it for me. This is also my favorite way to show someone they are special—putting the care into making something beautiful and being thoughtful about each detail.
I grew up on a farm in North Dakota learning any creative skill I could from my mom and through 4-H where I competed in just about everything. I went on to study studio art in college and eventually moved to New York City.
I lived in NYC for over a decade where I worked professionally in television, did a bit of commercial modeling, and worked backstage as a dresser at some of the biggest fashion shows in the business. I did other projects on the side with fellow creatives and took several classes at FIT. During this time I started Pamela Kay and also did some traveling as a spokesmodel.
I recently moved to Colorado with my husband where I continue making my designs now with a view of the mountains instead of skyscrapers. ;)

Personalized Advertising
To enable personalized advertising (like interest-based ads), we may share your data with our marketing and advertising partners using cookies and other technologies. Those partners may have their own information they’ve collected about you. Turning off the personalized advertising setting won’t stop you from seeing Etsy ads or impact Etsy's own personalization technologies, but it may make the ads you see less relevant or more repetitive.
This type of data sharing may be considered a “sale” of information under California privacy laws. Turning off personalized advertising opts you out of these “sales.” Learn more in our Privacy Policy., Help Center, and Cookies & Similar Technologies Policy.
