About Me -
Hello, my name is Tara and I first opened an Etsy shop in 2008. I loved mixed media and often painted interior settings combining my love for flea marketing and interior decorating. In 2010, I was out shopping when I came across a cute piece of art in this tiny gift store by Kelly Rae Roberts. I decided I needed to know more about her and her art, her style was similar to what I was painting. To my surprise she was offering, for the first time, an online art class called "Flying Lessons" covering her journey from point A to point B in the creative world. Of course I had to get involved (convinced this was fate intervening) because she was doing what I wanted to do! It's been a journey ever since for me. These classes have been important for the business side, stay true to what you love, how-to market and really embrace the creative lifestyle, kind of pathway.
My style, techniques,…

My style, techniques, likes and dislikes have evolved over the years but just like anything you have to practice to get better doing what you love and I think the best is yet to come.

So, it's been 3 years and lots of paint covered canvases later when I decide to reopen my Etsy shop. I'm still taking classes, most recently I was honored to participate in classes the fall of 2013 and 2014 with Lilla Rogers' Studio and Mati Rose McDonough, art agent and artist extraordinaire, both of whom work with Land of Nod, Pier One Imports, Paperchase and countless other original art seeking companies. I've met many great new friends and count myself lucky to be part of the supportive art community.

Family: With Calli (13), Mandy (11), Alyse (8), Valeri (4) and Bode (3) we are a busy family. Everyone is happily involved in school projects, soccer and family outings. I receive plenty of input from color ideas to packaging from my "staff".
Now in 2014 we moved ships...I now have a new space and promise new prints will be added more often, stay tuned!

Original designs.

My Promise to You:
Although I haven't had any issues, if you are not satisfied with your purchase I will gladly accept your return and offer you a full refund.
