Rosemary Lambert

My shop is called "Cardhugs" because getting a card in the mail is kind of like getting a hug. I work in a smoke-free and pet-free environment although I love animals. (We have a separate building where my husband rescues cats, and I spend time with a friend visiting her horses).

I grew up on a Michigan dairy farm in the 1950's where I was privilaged to see first hand the beauty of God's creation. My family and I attended a rural Lutheran church where I learned about our heavenly Father's plan of salvation and his great love for us. I feel very grateful to still have the freedom of worshiping the one true God and taking part in His sacraments.

My husband and I have two grown children and young grandchildren of whom we are very proud.

After retiring from the U.S. Post Office, I find time to create inspirational greeting cards and other items using photography,art and writing skills. I've had no formal training in the arts, but I have a natural love for them.

I've recently written and illustrated a Christian children's book about forgivness and baptism called "My Especially Special Day".

I like bike riding, dayhikes, horses, baking and creative pursuits. I'm involved with churchwork and have fun visiting shut-ins.

I hope you recieve a blessing as you enjoy my work. Sometimes I write verses for my cards, spending lots of time in deep thought before putting pen to paper. While most of my cards are blank, I'm thinking of offering poem inserts which can be purchased by themselves in the near future.
