About

WELCOME! I'm a native Californian now living in Arizona with my husband and 2 dogs. My grandsons and their parents live nearby, so we can spend lots of time together. Here are the things I create:

SILHOUETTES ON GLASS - These are framed and ready to hang! They are handpainted (reverse of the glass) from my original drawings which need to be detailed enough for accurate silhouette outlines. These are very unique wall decor in various styles and moods - carefully backed with fabrics, ornamental papers, or textured foils. Just an occasional wipe with glass cleaner and they are good to go!

QUILTS and WALLHANGINGS - These are all my original designs, first drawn on graph paper, then cut and sewn. They are often "theme quilts" and many include my own hand embroidery and applique. Most were quilted by an award-winning longarm…

Most were quilted by an award-winning longarm professional. My wall hangings are often embellished, so shouldn't be laundered, but all my quilts are labeled with laundering instructions.

ACEOs - Stands for "Art Cards, Editions or Original". Mine are all original, done in a variety of media. They are just 3.5" x 2.5" and are often collected as any other trading card, displayed on a table easel, or framed in a tiny frame. Some people use them in their miniature room settings, or dollhouses. They are always fun and "affordable" art!

POLYMER CLAY - Currently, this takes form as my hand sculpted mini-wall plaques, stylized "portraits" of Edwardian ladies in their fancy hats - I'm calling them my "Hat Ladies". Just a fun little wall accent. I may do other images in clay sculpture, so do check back often!
