Carrie Moss' Profile

About

I am a mother of two wonderful, energetic boys and one sweet little girl (which I wouldn't trade for anything!). I have always liked creating things and I have found sewing to be a great creative outlet for me. It is how I enjoy spending my time relaxing while the children sleep and the husband works.

How "Carried Away" began:

I wanted to use cloth bags for my groceries so I sewed up a bag from a pattern. It wasn't quite what I was looking for so I changed things up a bit and created my own pattern. This creation is the "carried away" bag sold here. I continue to tweak things a bit to make it even better.

I honestly can not have too many of these bags. I use them for EVERYTHING!

I have always liked creating things and I have found sewing to be a great creative outlet for me. It is how I enjoy spending my time relaxing while the children sleep and the husband works.

I honestly can not have too many of these bags. I use them for EVERYTHING!

My favorite uses:
Swim bag - put wet clothes/towels in and when I get home I throw it all in the washer and dryer!

Harvest bag - take it out to the garden with me and fill it up with my veggies and fruits. Take inside, empty my harvest, throw the bag in the wash then it is ready for the next picking.

Grocery bag - these bags can hold SO much! I am always amazed at how many groceries I can fit in just one bag. Plus I don't have to worry about the handles breaking.

Church bag - holds all of my lesson materials as well as paper, markers, toys for my own children.

Diaper bag - holds all I could ever need for my children, plus it is washable, so if something spills or if it gets soiled from dirty clothes - no problem. Just put it in the wash!

Project bag - these come in very handy when you have several projects going on at the same time. Put each project in it's own bag and grab the one you want to work on at the moment.

Library bag - so strong it can hold all the books for my children as well as for myself.

I get so excited about these bags and hope that you will find that you love them as much as I do! Check back often for new fabric selections!

Thanks for looking!
