I grew up on a farm in Illinois and loved being in nature...a stream, lots of trees and pastures full of cows. I always made things out of throw-aways and loved color, whether it was finger paints, fabric, scraps of yarn, or the beautiful flowers my mom grew.
I especially remember one summer my great aunt brought over a lot of her costume jewelry that she no longer wanted...a feast for my young girl eyes...lots of sparkly rhinestones, faux pearls, etc. I found that with opening my etsy shop, it has unleashed the never ending fascination I have with color.
I still have a need to keep my mind, heart and hands busy creating things. Nothing makes me happier than to sell one of my creations to a customer who loves it as much as I do. I like sweet things with a little bit of edge.
I would call myself…
