Cindy's Profile

About

We are three sisters, all with different interests. We all live in the Twin Cities area in Minnesota. I (Cindy) recently purchased an embroidery sewing machine. I originally purchased the machine to make sweatshirts for myself and my sisters. But it was so much fun to make them that pretty soon we had more than we could wear and then of course we thought of more projects we could make with the embroidery machine. I own a small graphic design studio for many years. I can use my graphic design skills to add a special flare to the designs. It is exciting to experiment with different fabrics, thread colors and see what the design looks like when stitched out. The Red Barn I used in my profile logo is actually on our farm in the country. This little building inspired me to create my name and logo. You can visit our facebook page to see what's inside The Little Red Barn:

My oldest sister (Marlene) has been sewing patch quilts, hand sews and hand ties quilts for over 35 years. She has made the entire family quilts over the years. The quilt that I cherish the most is the one she took our Mom's leftover dress pieces of fabric and made a block quilt. Marlene enjoys making these quilts especially in the long winter months.

My sister (Max) likes to sew totes, placemats, purses and collect knickknacks.

I hope you will check out our shop. Watch for more items to come.
