About

I am a stationary whore. do I NEED school supplies? heck no. But I have more than an entire classroom of 4th graders. :D

My newest love is art journaling. I was a scrapbooker once upon a time and, to me, art journaling is like scrapbooking on steroids. It's so much more freeing and fun and it's honestly (as cliche as it may sound) changed my life! It's also caused me to become even MORE of a paper whore and sadly, a hoarder! I never thought I'd be a hoarder! Alas.

I live with my 3 best boys - my husband who, honestly, I could not even begin to tell you how fabulous he is, even on the days that he sorta pisses me off. He's my biggest fan, my loudest cheerleader, my partner in crime and dude - he loves paper, too. Could it be a match made in Heaven? Bean (Little) is everything that I ever wanted in a boy... he's love in the flesh…

Bean (Little) is everything that I ever wanted in a boy... he's love in the flesh. He is a total mama's boy, which is good since he's the one that made me a mama! Ducky (Littlest) is everything I ever needed. Funny how that works, eh? He is joy in the flesh. Even as an infant, on my hardest of hard days (and there have been LOTS of those!), he's been the constant sunshine, the laughter, the one who has brought me back to reality and reminded me that everything will always be okay. I think I'm pretty lucky when you look at my life as a snapshot like that. That doesn't mean that my life is perfect or that I am always happy. The funny thing about the internet? We only see snippets, and only snippets that those who give us wish for us to see. I'd like my snippet to be as real as possible and that means that sometimes my house is a mess (often) and sometimes we eat off paper plates (oftener) and sometimes I cry about really stupid things (even MORE often). I yell at my kids and hate myself for it. My husband and I fight about stupid things. But at the end of the day - we have each other. And pens. And paper. And stuff to organize with. I think we've got it made.
