I started making jewelry about 5 years ago. My sister and I were in Singapore and got caught in a downpour. We ducked into a bead shop and I went nuts. I had never seen so many beautiful strands of beads. I went back to that shop and took my first class, and never looked back. Now the last thing I needed was a new hobby as I was a quilter, but just like quilting I was entranced by the colors. I started quilting when the same sister sent me a old sewing machine to hem my kids clothes. Never hemmed a thing. My quilts sometimes take up to a year to make. The quilts are made to last a lifetime and are all machine washable...........they are ment to be used!
