My husband and I have been making chocolate truffles since 1997. For many years they have delighted friends and family. Over the years it became clear that our champagne truffle was the most popular, and has provided the name for our shop.
We also make truffles using Frangelico, Bailey's, Peppermint Schnapps, Grand Marnier, and Kahlua. Our candies include chocolate covered homemade caramel, marshmallow, and a delicious combination of the two called scotchmallows.
We have tried different chocolate brands, but selected Callebaut several years ago as our preferred choice. It is rich and flavorful, has excellent texture, and is reasonable to work with.
