Charlene Owens' Profile

About

My mother taught me to sew and hand embroider when I was a child. In 2009 I left my job of 26 years and returned to my root. Now, I sew and embroider with a sewing machine. My first machine embroidery project was to embroider hospice logos on muslin for bags for volunteers to carry in the local Sweet Pea parade in August.. That day I brought home my first embroidery sewing machine. As I gained experience with stabilizers and improved my embroidering technique, I felt comfortable offering my embroidered products to the public. The next logical step was to open Charlene's Bags & Embroidery on Etsy and offering a wide variety of quality shopping bags, tea towels, Christmas ornaments, holiday decoration, gift tags, and bookmark. Now, I have items in a couple of local shops in Montana
