Since the age of 14 Cherie dreamed of having her own store and she knew it would involve the exciting world of Fashion. With the encouragement of the inspiring art teachers of Henry Street High school she further developed her creativity. She attempted every art medium available including basic silversmithing, fabric weaving and fashion design just to name a few. She went on to study Visual Merchandising Arts at Oakville’s Sheridan College from 1988 -1990.

Beadle began in 1999 as a wholesale business, selling handmade hair accessories to over 10 stores across Canada. After involvement in several smaller craft shows Beadle was accepted into Toronto’s One of a Kind Show. Being apart of such a dynamic environment inspired Cherie to create a line of pendants, hand sculpted from her newest medium polymer clay. The line soon expanded to included earrings, bracelets and rings. Cherie also thrives on custom orders. It pushes her to try new designs leading to new inspirations for Beadle products.

After working from home for nearly 6 years it was time for Cherie to have a store of her own. Beadle opened in October of 2006 and Cherie’s 20-year dream became reality. Without the continued support and love of her husband her dream would not have been realized. Cherie is continually attempting new and exciting projects and you just never know what she’ll design next.
