Because of my dear friends, Pauline Dennis and Lisa Bushen, and their enthusiasm plus the inspiration and support they both give, I started out making quilts for family members and good friends. I'm not ready to make and sell quilts just yet; but who knows? One day I just thought about how fun it would be to make novelty bags. People always need bags and they can be a fun and surprisingly great gift! They are fun to make and don't take as long as a darn quilt. : ) Just so you know, each bag I create is made with love, care and integrity in its making.
A little more about me: I have taught children with emotional impairments, taught preschool, and was also a Nanny. Can you tell I love children? lol I was also a volunteer for the American Cancer Society's ROAD to Recovery program as a Driver Coordinator for 5 years in which time I received a Volunteer of the Year award. Favorite materials

The materials I like to use are leather, calico, velvet, thick felt, cotton blends, lace, quilted cotton padding, silk cording, leather cording, braided cording, elegant glass beads, beautiful wooden beads and cool metal beads, various types of wonderful decorative trim and glorious feathers
