For as long as I can recall, I've been "playing" with beads! Remember "pop" beads? Well, I had strings and strings of them to design in different color combinations and lengths. At one time, I was even given elbow macaroni to string!

Gradually, however, I moved on to creating pieces with glass beads, Bakelite, Lucite, plastic, semi-precious stones, and just about anything that could be strung coupled with treasures culled from antique stores, flea markets, thrift shops and my Grandmother's attic.

Who knew that I was ahead of time remaking, reinventing, redesigning, reusing, reworking and replacing, upcycling and destashing long before the trend became so popular!

So, with my inherited "jewelry gene," it should come as no surprise that I can't seem to stop working with beads. As…
