Several years ago, I strolled through a Mom2Mom sale with my daughters and discovered a quaint little hair clip table. They were made of ribbon, and oh so cute. I thought to myself, "I'm a crafty lady, I could absolutely DO THAT!"
Who'd of thought a walk through a Mom2Mom sale would evolve into an unstoppable force of hair clip cREAtioN! There are so many beautiful things that can be done with ribbon, but my favorite and most challenging technique is creating ribbon sculptures.
After 3yrs of experimentation, hot glue boogers, scissor sliced fingers, and "dammit WHERE did that 1mm crystal eyeball go?" - I had a lovely little moment of glory. I saw a little girl twirling quietly to herself at a party. She stopped and removed her Princess hair clip from her brown curly hair and began speaking gently to it about the tea party they would attend…
