About

Hello! I'm Christina. I've been here on etsy for a few years now, and sculpting animals on commission since 2007. I'm pretty much into animals of all kinds and enjoy cruising etsy search for neat-o stuff related to chickens, squirrels, and horses. I'm also into vintage, circa 1900-early 50's, especially clothes....even though most of the time I'm only able to 'window shop'.

You will find pet sculpture, paintings, wood items, and more in my shop.

I am convo friendly, but please do not spam me.

Here are answers to some commonly asked questions regarding my clay work:

1.)What are your sculptures made of? -My sculpting medium of choice is polymer clay. I chose this type of clay due to it's availability, ease of firing, and durability. While many people think of it as simple childrens modeling clay, let me assure you that it is much MUCH more. It is NOT a cheap medium, nor does it take any less skill to work with than sculpting in a mud clay. P.C. is durable when treated with care. It is not suitable for a child's toy.

2.)Did you go to art school? -No, I'm a self taught artist. What I know I learned via reading, watching, and good ol' trial and error. By trade, I am a veterinary technician. In the future I would like to be a full time ecentric. Art is kind of like the peanut butter and jelly between my bread. :)

3.)Do you have pets? -Yes. Do they hang out in my studio? Yes. Pheobe the Wonder Auss and Nermal the cat are regular visitors.

4.)Do you smoke? -No. All of my work is created in a smoke-free environment.

5.)I would like for you to make a figurine of my dog. What do I need to do? -First off drop me a convo to see if I'm available for custom work. If you really want to get the ball rolling, attach a couple of pics of the pet you want sculpted. If I feel I'll be able to accommodate your request in a reasonable amount of time, we'll get the details worked out.

6.)Do you ship internationally? -Yup.

7.)Can I come to your studio? -Nope. Well, maybe...if you bring doughnuts and puppies.

8.)Can I ask you questions not listed on this FAQ? -Well, YEAH. Just drop me a convo!
