She grew up in rural Massachusetts surrounded by family and lots of animals giving her strength and inspiration that continues today. She studied art 'core' program at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington DC, then moved back to Massachusetts to complete her BFA in Illustration at the Art Institute of Boston. Christine frequently donates her paintings and prints to animal shelters and rescue organizations in order to raise funds for these worthy causes.

I'm always looking for new ways to bring different things to my watercolors. For example, I have started using black watercolor paint and making black and white images with color pencil overlays.
