About

I am a mother of three boys, living in Ojai, California. It was at one of the school auctions that I saw a pendant that struck me. It was a re- creation of one of their friends drawings into a sterling silver pendant. I loved it! I got out bid! and I found what I wanted to do with myself. So, I learned to pierce (cutting sheet metal), I learned to cut out eyeballs and teeth, and learned to follow some deep detail in a childs drawing. I learned to solder, polish and present to a parent a piece of art work that their child drew, frequently a portrait of themselve, you know, sometimes with no body, just the face and legs and arms, in silver as a keepsake of that time.

I find it so rewarding and sweet, however my curiousity and desire evolved and I got into symbolism and meanings. I am Korean born, raised in Ireland, with an Irish father and mother from the United States with a Jewish backround! I started to see how fitting it was to be drawn to symbols from all cultures around the world and how powerful that message can be and it's meaning is. I found myself also drawn to animals, as again, our connection to an animal, whether we have it as a pet or find it has deep significance in our lives. I seem to of found a theme, my desire for connection and the joy I get from being able to create that which is important in ones lives. The beauty and sweetness of flowers and what they bring to us, it can be the simple things that can bring us the most joy. Thank you for taking the time to look, enjoy :)
