I hope you can share the delight I experience when I am making these pieces. At a certain point after much melting, cutting, welding, hammering and polishing, I gently heat the almost finished piece and watch the colors and patterns come to life. - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rkYpAWOF3f4 . If I do not think to myself "Wow!" at that point, then it goes back into the melting pot!

All this work is mostly reworkings of found objects and therefore recycled. The precious metals I use are all bought new to ensure clear provenance.
