Colin Goldberg's Profile

About

I was born in the Bronx, New York in 1971 to parents of Jewish and Japanese ancestry, both chemists by training. My work deals primarily with the intersection of abstraction and technology - I like to call it "Techspressionism". My work has been exhibited at the New York Armory in Manhattan and the Parrish Art Museum in Southampton, New York, among other places, and has was projected 200' tall onto the Empire State Building for Earth Day ! Recently, one of my paintings was accepted into the permanent collection of the Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center in Springs, New York, the former home and studio of painters Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner. I am currently represented by Yes Gallery in Brooklyn, NY and currently live and work in Orient on the North Fork of Long Island, with my fianceé Donna and our two cats Maceo and Amber.
