Caroline Gauci's Profile

About

As a child growing up in the South of France, I was always attracted by colours. Since then, it has become an obsession as an adult.
My two grandmothers taught me the arts of crochet, and instilled in me as well a passion for textiles.
After running a sucessful restaurant in Paris where the theme was all about colours, I found it was time to start a new career and I knew that it was meant to be based on design and creation.
I took a year off and travelled throughout South East Asia. I discovere d in Cambodia the art of ikat weaving and this luxurious fiber called silk. Giving Colours is now the ultimate reflection of my work about colours.
Giving Colours is about mixing: colours and shapes, retro and contemporary.
Giving Colours is about creating: beautiful crochet brooches, necklaces, bracelets and hair accessories with a colourful twist.
Giving Colours is about giving: a part of me and my love of colours, to you.

All of my creations are made in the UK.
They are all easy to wear, and can be adaptable to any style.Altough i would recomend to wear them on a plain fabric colour. They are a fantastic accessorise to bright up a black outfit, as well as they will suit a colourfull one.
It is a great idea to mix them ; they are such a splash of colour  to cheer you up.
