About

Hi there!

I left a big city apartment for a country house where my hubs and I now spend our days creating art, gardening, fishing and generally leading much more laid back lives than we used to live! I've always enjoyed working with my hands and hope that passion shines through in the quality of the pieces I make for Five Birch Perch.

Five Birch Perch specializes in handmade jewelry & decor created from natural materials, man-made trimmings, and some vintage thrown in for good measure.

Custom work is available as well. I get a lot of orders for shrines or mobiles to be made out of trip mementos or life-event (ie. weddings, births, etc) memorabilia. Just send me a message to get the conversation started.

I work in a lovely house in the country that is smoke-free, but I do have pets. Let me know if you have any allergies.

If you live in the Watertown, NY area, my jewelry can also be purchased at the North Country Arts Council in Public Square, and my mobiles can be purchased at the Eclectic Boutique in Carthage.

I run a green(ish) blog called F that S (www.fthats.wordpress.com), and love to highlight green(ish) crafts, so contact me if you want to be featured.

I also do graphic design (www.divineconception.net). Let me know if your crafty business needs anything - I am more than happy to work within someone's budget or for trade.

Thanks for stopping by!
