About

I grew up in a little town called Bastia; which is located on the island of Corsica. Corsica is rich in beauty from its green granite and white sand beaches to its snow-capped mountains—all only minutes away from each other by car. On a warm summer day, the scent of the maquis fills the air and it is just wonderful. A "maquis", pronounced mah-key is low growing green leaf plant that covers the mountainsides. It is sort of like a shrub with a musk-like scent.

Nicknamed "the island of beauty," it is from this natural wonder that I draw my inspiration for designing bead jewelry.

I really enjoy making jewelry because it is a way to unwind from my full-time job. I especially love making a sale because I get a great felling of knowing I helped someone add some beauty to their life.

Today, I make my home in Northern Virginia, but "mon coeur est en Corse" with my husband who takes all the photographs of my jewelry and works on my website, my son who makes my table displays at craft shows look like works of art and my two dogs and a fuzz bucket (cat name Sammy) but my heart is in Corsica. Thank you for visiting my Etsy shoppe and please send me a message if you have any questions.
