About

As an artist, I will periodically offer original artwork as well as handmade jewelry. I grew up being taught by a mother who was not only a great person, but also an artist. She always took time to instruct me in techniques in painting and creative projects while raising six children. My love of God, my family, country living, art, horsebacking riding, gardening, sewing, antiques, woodworking projects, and decorating were just a few of the influences in my life's journey.

I painted as a juried and commissioned artist for most of my adult life, but it was that class in jewelry making that always nagged at me for more attention.

Copper disks and hand cut forms were decorated with bits of colored glass, then fired in a small jewelry kiln for copper enameling. The finished results were lovely earrings, and pendants that I wore for ages. The years have flown by since then, raising a family of my own, and keeping up with my varied interests, but I have never forgetten my jewelry making skills. Thus the pursuit of the life-long dream. All that I was raised to enjoy continues to inspire me.

My husband and I are passionate for antiques, so don't be surprised to see some pieces pop up in my Etsy Shop.
