Patricia Merritt's Profile

About

I have been a caterer for 16 years and always concerned about the ingredients in my food. I always wanted fresh spices and herbs, as well as the freshest fruits and vegetables.
We love to work with fresh picked berries, apples from the orchard and lovely peaches.
Peeling the fruits for our chutneys sends a lovely aroma throughout the kitchens.
I have a great brother-in-law who supplements our garden with the best of home grown vegetables. We can count on him to research and produce the finest organic veggies, lovely tomatoes, peppers.
and varieties of squash. My DD's grow herbs enough to furnish the city of Boston with herbs for a year.

I also sew, weave baskets and paint.
I have a gift shop.

I love to trade from this shop and belong to Trade On /Tradeaholics on etsy.

To trade with me I will trade for almost anything however because my items are heavy and usually cost more than I have for my shipping costs. My request is that you NOT order just one item but shop for 3 or more. I can stuff 6 spice tins in a $4.80 flat rate box and chutneys, salsas and sauces along with sugars, rubs and tins into a $9.85 flat rate box. I can send 6 spice packets in an envelope which is the only thing I have that is reasonable to ship. IMHO
Thanks for understanding.
