I began designing and making jewelry for family and friends about twenty years ago and fell in love with the art of jewelry making. I am always looking for new components to incorporate into my designs. I began by selling my creations at a local boutique and enjoyed the feedback I got from customers. They were a great source of inspiration and kept me on the go. Joining the Etsy family has been a rewarding and enjoyable venture.
I use sterling silver, silver-plate, gold filled, antique bronze, and pewter findings, along with pearls, crystals, lampwork beads, gemstones, natural stone, and Lucite components. But, I love to try new mediums in my ever-growing education in jewelry designing.
A little personal info: I am a retired oncology nurse, married to my childhood sweetheart for 55 years. Five active grandchildren fill my days with laughter. Spending time with my husband, two daughters and their families at our weekend house in the mountains of Northwestern Pennsylvania provides cherished memories. I love nature, gardening, reading, travel, crafting, quilting, jewelry designing, and especially cooking.
