About

I come from a long line of creatively talented family members- on both sides. The creative energy I feel today and every day, comes from these wonderful people. I am lucky enough to have received creative genes and great encouragement from both my engineer/woodworker/jeweler Dad and my painter/seamstress/needleworker Mom, who continually amazed me with their own talents when I was growing up. My parents never said no when I wanted to jump right in and learn or help with whatever creative thing they were doing, and I will forever be grateful to them both for this great gift...

I began selling my art, painted on tshirts to my neighbors when I was about 13. I began selling my art, painted on tshirts to my neighbors when I was about 13. I soon was embracing every form of creative expression from needlework, sewing and knitting to quilting, woodworking, papercrafts and silversmithing. I have a deep regard for anything/everything handmade, since the love and care that went into its creation is usually tangibly evident. There is NEVER enough time in my day (and late nights) to finish all my creative endeavors...( to say NOTHING about fixing dinner or doing laundry....lol)

Today, I enjoy creating my little works of digital art from vintage art and text documents. It's very rewarding to use cast off and worn out pieces of the past to make new and lovely art creations that bring a little joy to those who receive them. I love my customers... They are the best, and are what keep me going!
