W. Irene Thanh's Profile

About

As an avid artist interested in all things, I'm currently pursuing a BA in Linguistics and Communication, though I've done fiction/poetry writing, visual art, web design, and game art and animation in the past. With all my skills, I hope to expand my shop in the near future.

Etsy has always been an addictive community, along with craftster.org and many DIY networks. I am fascinated by ancient history and various cultures, music, fantasy art and novels, colour schemes of red/black/white or chocolate/teal/olive/white (chocolate or black with any bright colour really), food (especially Asian snacks) and all things cutesy (with the exception of Hello Kitty). Nail polish and earrings are my Achilles' heel =D I love all things craftsy and artsy and can never seem to settle for just one skill to stick to.

Crafters = artisans to me, so I do really appreciate all the items that are shared in this community ^_^ We're so much more than just hobbyists, I think =P
A day without creating is a day of frustration for me, and I thrive on looking at all the superb work and talent here to keep me motivated. So I thank all of you Etsy-ers for that ^_<

Currently, I'm exploring the ideas of UTEE-jewelry/accessories, polymer/paper clay beads and sculptures and illustration prints. Any directions to sources or advice would be greatly appreciated ^_^
