About

Art is all around us. It is the air we breathe, the ground that we walk on. All you have to do is listen to hear the whispers of ghosts dancing their way upon the wind. Stories are everywhere, like little forgotten treasures lost in the dirt, awaiting the day when they will shine again in someone's heart.

My job as a story teller is to uncover these windows that offer a glimpse into the sacred places, to listen to the whispers and give them form, so that they may not be forgotten images lost forever to the wind.

That is why I refer to myself as a mixed media artist. I use fiber, paint, wood, found objects, and whatever else it takes to bring the stories to life. I spend much of my time in antique stores, looking for "it", the piece that speaks to me. I almost never know where these pieces will end up when I purchase them. I tend to work free form, letting the story tell itself and develop in my hands.

I have no formal art training, though someday I might take some classes. I have a bachelor degree in Psychology. I'm married and have a beautiful little girl. My mother and I run Crimsonsol Studios. We will soon be establishing a website, full of tips, techniques, and so on.

I have exhibited at some local establishments, with much interest shown in my work. With a little one at home, it's rather difficult to schedule many shows, so I decided to go online to reach a larger audience.

Thank you for visiting my shop.
