Some of my fondest memories growing up were mornings spent sketching or walking through art galleries and museums with my dad. When I was young, I rarely let a week go by without spending time with paintbrush in hand. As I grew older, I spent my time pursuing more "serious" endeavors in the Washington, DC region, but I never lost my longing for creating beautiful things. When my work turned towards protecting children online and fighting sexual exploitation and human trafficking, I needed an outlet. I once again put paint to canvas and turned to my sketchbook to process the darkness I faced daily, completing some pieces that helped to cast light onto very dark issues. Like many of the talented artists around this site, I fell into selling my artwork. I started painting for our own home and kids and then people started asking for commissioned work and then prints. I'm not a professionally trained artist, but I love the process and I love making things that bring light, beauty and fun into people's lives. Over the last few years, I've been able to work with some amazing brands and businesses, from Christian Dior to the Washington Post. I'm committed to delivering the highest-quality, archival prints of my work to my customers. I also sell some of my original pieces - all are on professional grade mixed-media paper using gallery-level paints. I also do commissioned pieces - please message me if you are ever interested in having something made just for you or your loved ones. :)I hope you enjoy these pieces as much as I enjoyed painting them and that they bring a little beauty, joy and light into your homes! xx
